Our Story:

Ed played professional football for 12 years in the CFL. He spent 9 years with the Montreal Alouettes and 3 years with the Toronto Argonauts. Ed Learn started selling cars during the off season of the CFL. After retiring from the CFL, Mr. Learn purchased a Lincoln/Mercury dealership in Welland. He ran Farr Learn Ford for 9 years.

In 1978, Ed Learn purchased the Ford franchise located at 375 Ontario Street , St. Catharines. He renamed it Ed Learn Ford Sales Ltd. The building has been renovated 3 times. In 1996, Ed Learn Ford Sales Ltd. was selected by Ford to have one of the first Fast Lane departments in Canada. Fast Lane gives customers "while you wait" maintenance service and never requires an appointment. Plus we are able to take care of all makes & models.

In 2005, showing his commitment to the environment Ed Learn purchased the Ford Hybrid franchise. Our staff have been trained in the sales & servicing of Ford Hybrid vehicles. For the 2010 model year, this now includes both the Escape Hybrid and the Fusion Hybrid. The 2010 Fusion Hybrid has just been named "Motor Trend Car of the Year for 2010".

In 2006, the Lincoln franchise was added when Cort Day retired. Ed Learn brought over several of the top performers from Day Ford Lincoln, including both sales & service personnel. This gives us the entire Ford & Lincoln line-up.
